Overall, the program has a supportive culture with a large emphasis on teaching in vibrant city. This made me feel like Loyola would be a place that I could grow and thrive as a trainee.
Advice for the urology applicant: Try to find good mentors that can help you prepare for away rotations and guide you through the application process. Also, if possible do your away rotations in cities and at institutions that you could see yourself at as a trainee.
